Gondola
Gold Gondola on ZlatiborÂwas officially put into operation on January 11, 2021. With its impressive nine kilometers long route, it now has the title of the longest panoramic gondola in the world.ÂZlatibor’s Gold GondolaÂconnects the center of Zlatibor with the Tornik ski resort, which is also the highest peak of the mountain. With a current capacity of 600 passengers per hour in 54 separate cabins with 10 seats each, the gondola provides tourists with an unforgettable experience and 25 minutes, which is how long is a one-way ride, of enjoying the picturesque landscapes of Zlatibor.
The gondola has one intermediate station on Lake Ribnica, where the development of the Novi Zlatibor project is planned (high category tourism, on over 200 ha of land).
Gold Gondola is open to visitors every day.
The first ride starts at 08:30 AM from the terminus on Zlatibor. The last ride from the terminus on Zlatibor is at 03:00 PM (from Zlatibor to Tornik). The last ride from the terminus (from Tornik to Zlatibor) is at 04:00 PM.
The maximum capacity of the gondola is planned to be 90 cabins and 1,000 passengers per hour. With over 36 cantilever arms, at a speed of 6 meters per second, the gondola begins its journey at the altitude of 531 meters and ends it at the 1,496 meters high Tornik peak. The height of individual pillars ranges from 6.45 m to 30 m, and every single piece of the gondola was designed in accordance with the static calculations, while respecting all the necessary safety conditions and requirements related to the crossing of the cable car over the lake, accompanying facilities, all infrastructure routes, ski tracks and construction land. The span between the pillars and their height vary depending on the geometric route. The distances between the pillars are mostly in the range of 160 to 450 meters.
It’s almost inconceivable to have a real and authentic mountain vacation experience without the panoramic gondola that will take you sailing beneath the clouds and cruising above the most beautiful places, ski tracks and other recreational and sports facilities. Brunch in the air
“Brunch in the Air” is an extraordinary meal that will enchant you with its tasty bites of traditional Zlatibor products, such as prosciutto, bacon sticks, full-fat hard cheese from Zlatibor made in a traditional way, and homemade pie. In this special meal and the unique atmosphere of riding the world’s longest gondola – the Gold Gondola – you can enjoy all year round.
Reservations for the “Brunch in the Air” can be made online or at the Gold Gondola sales point. The meal is served in specially marked cabins from 11 am to 2 pm, every 15 minutes. Brunch 2 is designed for groups of up to 4 people per cabin, while Brunch 3 and 4 can be served up to 6 people. One brunch platter consists of a combination of traditional Zlatibor bites – homemade prosciutto, bacon, cream cheese, cheese, and a homemade pie prepared that day traditionally. For drinks, we have prepared homemade juice, brandy, water, coffee, and you can finish with a tasty homemade dessert.
Useful information: Arrival at the starting station must be at least 10 minutes before the reserved time, where passengers will wait for their specially marked cabin. Upon arrival, please report to our sales point, where our colleagues will guide you further. Upon entering the cabin, passengers receive an aperitif indicated in the registration, while the complete meal is served at the intermediate station. The “ Brunch in the Air” ride lasts one hour, and the exit is at the same station as the entrance. If passengers decide to exit at the top of Tornik, we guarantee a return by a separate cabin without waiting, not the same one they came in. On the way back, at the intermediate station, passengers receive tea/coffee and dessert.

A New Experience on the Gold Gondola – A Romantic Journey
 Inspired by love, the Zlatibor Gold Gondola started a romantic journey on Valentine’s Day, February 14thÂ2023. In a specially decorated cabin visitors are able to spend beautiful and unforgettable moments traveling above the Zlatibor landscapes with champagne and sweet treats, and as a memento, they receive a souvenir. This service is a permanent offer of the Gold Gondola throughout the year.

+381 31 3833 833. Cabins for the romantic journey are available from 11 am to 2 pm, every 15 minutes, with a rental price of 12,500 dinars.
